Due to the evolving Covid-19, pandemic, we regret that IFMSS 2020 must be postponed.

Given the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, we have no option but to move all of the upcoming IFMSS meetings forward x 1 year.

Peter Lindgren (Karolinska), Diana Farmer & Shin Hirose (UC Davis) & I have discussed at length the impact on the next three upcoming IFMSS meetings.

For those of you who have registered for IFMSS 2020, we will reimburse all registration fees via your bank in the next week or so, unless you wish to transfer them to IFMSS2021.  Please e-mail Elizabeth Gan (elizabeth.gan@sinaihealth.ca) or fax, Attn: Elizabeth Gan, Fax. 426-586-5958, with your bank details so that we can expedite a bank to bank transfer.

I will circulate the new dates for 2021 soon. The timing will be very close to the planned dates for 2020, i.e. late September, 2021.  The location will be the same.  We will also run a separate Fetal Therapy course and a Fetal Medicine day as "bookends" to the main IFMSS meeting.

Please take good care of yourselves and your own in these unprecedented times.

22nd – 25th September 2020
Castlemartyr, Co. Cork, Ireland

The 39th annual meeting of the International Fetal Medicine & Surgery Society (IFMSS)

will take place from Tue. 22nd – Fri. 25th September, 2020 in Castlemartyr, Co. Cork, Ireland.
This three and a half day meeting will present the most current knowledge, advances and controversies in the fields of fetal medicine and therapy.

The underpinning theme for IFMSS 2020 is “Sármhaitheas agus Craic”. "Sármhaitheas" translates best as excellence, a key element of the research and clinical practice of IFMSS members. It also encapsulates what we hope to show you as the very best of Ireland, in a myriad of ways. "Craic" is, well … untranslatable. We guarantee that its meaning will become clear to you when you join us in Cork! That is, you'll just have to come to find out ...
