Due to the evolving Covid-19, pandemic, we regret that IFMSS 2020 must be postponed.
Given the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, we have no option but to move all of the upcoming IFMSS meetings forward x 1 year.
Peter Lindgren (Karolinska), Diana Farmer & Shin Hirose (UC Davis) & I have discussed at length the impact on the next three upcoming IFMSS meetings.
For those of you who have registered for IFMSS 2020, we will reimburse all registration fees via your bank in the next week or so, unless you wish to transfer them to IFMSS2021. Please e-mail Elizabeth Gan (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your bank details so that we can expedite a bank to bank transfer.
I will circulate the new dates for 2021 soon. The timing will be very close to the planned dates for 2020, i.e. late September, 2021. The location will be the same. We will also run a separate Fetal Therapy course and a Fetal Medicine day as "bookends" to the main IFMSS meeting.
Please take good care of yourselves and your own in these unprecedented times.
The 39th annual IFMSS meeting will be an opportunity for fetal medicine and surgery practitioners to share their research, innovations, clinical experience and outcome data, and to discuss current controversies in fetal therapy.
The scientific program will take place over three and a half days, beginning on the morning of Tuesday, 22nd September and running until lunchtime on Friday, 25th September, 2020. We will host an opening welcome reception on the evening of Monday, 21st September.
An enticing program of events and visits will be organized for accompanying persons. Details of the scientific and social programs will be published on this site closer to the meeting dates.

There is a risk that this might reveal a competitive element in certain hitherto genteel, courteous and amicable IFMSS members from different specialties and countries.
